Ruth Holland, 85, of 304 Porter St., died Monday morning in the Ben Hur Home. She was a member of the First Baptist Church. She was born March 13, 1893, in Waynetown, a daughter of William and Emma Whitacker Badgley. In 1912, she married August Holland. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Donald (Virginia) Neese of Crawfordsville, and three sisters, Norma Whitsel of Rockville and Jennie Case and Pauline Stephens of Crawfordsville. Services will be at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday in Hunt & Son Funeral Home. The Rev. James Ranard will officiate. Burial will be in the Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home today. - jlr
